Young EMO Liaison Office Opened at Our Faculty!
The Young EMO Liaison Office, established in collaboration between the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Balıkesir University and the Balıkesir Branch of the Chamber of Electrical Engineers (EMO), has officially commenced its activities as of today.
📍 Located within the Main Engineering Faculty Building, the liaison office will serve as a valuable meeting point for both our students and academic staff by organizing:
🔹 Collaborations
🔹 Trainings
🔹 Technical visits
These initiatives aim to enrich both academic and professional development.
Additionally, our Department Head Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ersin Akyüz, together with Ergün Ünal – EMO Balıkesir Provincial Representative, Adem Aytimur, Canel Zağlı, Serkan Mertoğlu – Deputy Representatives, Electrical Engineer Suat Bilgiç, and Ümit Özen, Electrical Engineer from the Balıkesir University Construction Department, visited Prof. Dr. Metin Demirtaş’s Electrical Machines Laboratory, where they had the opportunity to meet our senior (4th-year) students.
We believe this important initiative will make significant contributions to preparing our students for their professional careers. 🚀
